As you might have read on this very blog earlier, SQLPort is celebrating 10 years and 10 Days ago (pun unintended :)) I have published an article regarding SQLPort (Portuguese Microsoft Data Platform Community) making 10 years anniversary, while saying that we are not planning to do a party … which was not entirely correct.
We do and we are already doing our celebrations.
If you are interested in participating in SQLPort activities – you should be subscribed to our mailing list – http://eepurl.com/dv4pRr, where we have started publishing newsletters every week
We shall do 10 meetings with presentations in 10 weeks, bringing every week the highest quality insights on one specific topic and so far (yes, we have “silently” started right at the end of the March).
Here is the incomplete list (a couple of the further upcoming sessions are still pretty open and in any case you have got to stay tuned for the interesting stuff):
1. Ned Otter “Understanding Always Encrypted” (2nd of April)
2. Milos Radivojevic – “Query Store – Introduction” (8th of April)
3. Milos Radivojevic – “Query Store – Best practices” (15th of April)
4. Jovan Popovic – “Title: Analyze petabytes of data in Azure DataLake using Synapse SQL serverless query service” (22nd of April)
and who knows – we might even carry on, if the concept sticks well enough and people will demand more.
If you want to share some great deeper insight to help us celebrating the 10th anniversary – please let me know ASAP.
And once again, if you are interested in participating in SQLPort activities – you should be subscribed to our mailing list :)
