I agree 100% about the proper tool for the proper task. In my job I deal with people who want a site and aren't sure what they want. For pure blogging nothing beats Wordpress. It means you should not use a hammer for railroad construction, but will need it for nailing a picture to the wall (i dont want to imagine anyone using a 20-pound sledgehammer for the same purpose).
