I will not even try to hide my secret wish to deliver a full-day precon in the city where I have made my studies, in Vienna – and since this year (2019) the fine gentlemen running this event have organised it, opened a call for the workshops, I felt like I had to try.
Extremely happy and honoured that surprisingly they have picked my Columnstore Indexes: Practical Solutions & Techniques workshop and on the 23rd of January 2020 you will be able to find me in the marvellous city of Vienna, where besides a nod to each of the available SQL Server versions (2012, 2014, 2016, 2017, 2019 and the Azure SQLDB) and besides diving deeply into the Batch Mode, I will show some new stuff, that so far I have not shown anywhere yet.
I will also be mentioning Azure SQL Data Warehouse for sure …
Of course I am holding on some exciting stuff that I will be sharing on those perky workshops exclusively. ;)
