Delivering workshop at SQLBits 17

Its the end of the another great year (2016) and I already have received an incredible news for the next year – in 2017 I will be coming back to the most amazing data platform conference – the SQLBits, to deliver another pre-conference workshop, focusing on the Columnstore Indexes: on the 6th of April 2017 join me for the dive into the “Columnstore Indexes – the practical solutions”.

This workshop is based on my performance tuning experience with Columnstore Indexes, containing mostly new material that is unpublished at the moment of writing of this article. The workshop itself will be split into the 5 parts, containing
– the basis theoretical material on the Columnstore Indexes
– SQL Server 2012 cases
– SQL Server 2014 cases
– SQL Server 2016 cases
– SQL Server vNext/Azure SQL Database cases
meaning that the focus will be on the diversity of the solutions and how can you achieve the maximum given the limitations of each of the versions. Naturally I will focus more on the most recent versions, so be warned – do not expect the content to cover just the good old SQL Server 2012.

Since i am planning on further reducing my speaking engagement in 2017 (I will be focusing more and more on my family), and so this is definitely a good opportunity to catch me in 2017.

Join me on the 6th of April 2017 in Telford at SQLBits!
