Between 19th-21st of May 2016, we (TUGA Association) are organising a major IT event in Portugal – TUGA IT.
Targeting Microsoft Data Platform, BizTalk, SharePoint, Office365, Azure Infrastructure & much more, this event will be one of the biggest IT events in Portugal with at least 500 attendees expected. We also will be spreading it over 3 days, making possible for a lot of different people in the IT industry to interconnect with each other.
The decision of advancing with this concept felt very naturally – there are no major events targeting those areas in IT in Portugal (besides our SQLSaturday covering Data Platform), and so we decided to join them all together for a single experience that will require less effort from us all.
Some people compared our concept with the good old TechDays … :) It’s interesting to see that this comes into the mind of so many different people, especially since the last edition was organised in April of 2010, which is good 5.5 years ago.
All important SQLSaturday Portugal sponsors were already advised and they have shown great interest to support us, and so we feel very confident in going this direction accompanied by some of the strongest and most important Portuguese IT companies.
