I am extremely happy to share that I shall be delivering a workshop at the amazing SQLSaturday Cambridge on 10th of September 2015 (Thursday). As you would expect, this whole day experience will focus on my favourite functionality in the Database World – The Columnstore Indexes.
This whole day experience will be focusing on the bringing you a wide range of topics starting from the basics of the Columnstore Indexes & the Batch Mode, and diving into their usage cases and their limits.
We shall start looking at the Nonclustered Columnstore Indexes in SQL Server 2012, looking in details into Clustered Columnstore Indexes in SQL Server 2014 and diving into the 2 newest kids on the block – Updatable Nonclustered Columnstore Indexes for Row Store Tables and In-Memory Tables in SQL Server 2016 (Operational Analytics & In-Memory Analytics).
Mark Broadbent and his team have defined a number of funny ticket types for the registration, starting from Super-Early Bird and going all the way to the Lazy Bird and even the Late Bird. If you are considering to sign up for my workshop, then do it now & register for the workshop.
I hope to see you in Cambridge!
